Altaira Accounting was formed in 1995 in an effort to create a company to better help me transition from a full time job to being self-employed. After 25 plus years in a private sector accounting position and same amount of time maintaining a small tax practice, I decided to be in this business full time. In July of 2000 I was designated as enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. Along with the preparation of individual, corporate and partnership Income Tax returns, we offer a variety of services for individuals and small businesses which include; financial statements, payroll and accounting services, bank reconciliations, as well as consulting and training seminars. I am currently a certified consultant for Simply Accounting, a small business package distributed by Accpac and AccountCare representative for Peachtree Accounting.
